Editorial Workflow and Review Timeline

At Mentis Journal of Educational Research, manuscripts are processed through a rigorous, transparent, and timely editorial workflow designed to ensure both scientific quality and an efficient publication experience.

Following submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to assess its scope, originality, and compliance with the journal’s guidelines. This preliminary evaluation is typically completed within approximately 3 days. Manuscripts deemed suitable are then assigned to expert reviewers in a double-blind peer review process.

The peer review stage is conducted with careful attention to academic rigor and typically takes between 2 to 4 months, depending on the availability of reviewers and the nature of the revisions required. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in line with reviewer feedback to meet the journal’s scholarly standards.

From submission to final decision, the overall evaluation process takes approximately 5 months on average. Throughout this process, the editorial team is committed to maintaining clear communication, fairness, and adherence to ethical publishing principles.

This structured workflow reflects the journal’s dedication to fostering high-quality research while ensuring a balanced and timely review process for contributing authors.
